Start Earning Within 12 Weeks
We offer training 7 days a week on a one to one basis in a modern air conditioned car. First you need to decide how many hours you can devote to the training. The timetable below is based on a candidate being able to spend between 12-18 hours per week training. As the example shows, with successful first time passes this candidate has qualified and is ready to work by week 12. However you can start earning money on a trainee licence after you have passed the part 2 test and completed your part 3 training making it possible to start earning within 10 weeks
Whichever timetable you decide upon, it needs to be flexible as your exam dates are subject to availability from the Driving Standards Agency. The waiting time for the first exam is about 1 week in most areas. Waiting times for the part 2 and part 3 tests can be anything from 1 week to 12 weeks depending on where you live. If you are prepared to travel we will arrange part 2 or part 3 test within 2 weeks and organise your training to be done in an area close to where your test will be taken.
Some companies will tell you it is impossible to start earning within 12 weeks, but our advice is to train with a company that does not let the availability of trainers slow your progress, rather then one that will use lengthy test delays as an excuse to lengthen the course.
Most applicants who intend to start the ADI qualifying process will need to have a criminal record check, this is obtained FREE OF CHARGE through the DSA contractor, Capita Recruitment. Call Capita today on 0870 850 2455. They will ask you 5 simple questions to ensure your driving licence is in order and you have no serious convictions which may prevent you from becoming a driving instructor. If everything is in order they will send you an application pack for you to complete and return the forms to them. You will then be sent a unique reference number which you will need to start the application process for the first exam
